Forms Tracking
I am looking for best practices on the tracking of forms.  What do you do to be able to track your forms knowing it is the latest version out there?

RE: Forms Tracking
PolicyTech's  Policy & Procedure Manager software can handle form versioning easily.
Forms can be created in any file format, such as Adobe Acrobat, and added as a document in the PPM software. This will go through the approval workflow as any other document, and once approved, available to all users.  By doing this, a reminder date for revision can be created.  An email is sent to the form's owner, reminding the owner to create a new version if needed.

The software will also track how often the form is accessed and by whom to track the effectiveness of the form.

Links to the form can be added to the existing policy/procedure to ensure that the users will access the latest approved version of the form.
The users may comment in the PPM software directly to the owner, if the form requires modification.
